In my culture many people are obsessed over earning money and investing, They plan meticulously, work super hard. But when it comes to spending money they don’t plan it. There is much awareness about earning, saving and investing money, But not much about spending money. I think that is very important. If you don’t spend the money you earned to live your life then what is the point of working so hard to earn that money then?
We should carefully think about how we spend money. Not the everyday expenses where you think in terms of savings. But in terms of comfort, health, peace and happiness.
I don’t want to live a hard life just to leave a huge inheritance behind. No. I wish to live comfortably, not lavishly, just comfortably and happily. I don’t want to just survive through this life, I want to live it.
Delaying gratification is a good exercise but you should be aware of when you will let yourself have that gratification. There is no point in delaying it indefinitely.
We don’t know for sure whether there is an after life or not, so don’t save anything for later. Don’t live a Toothless Life.
